I AM TAYLOR GREY

Just a year after the release of her debut album “Space Case,” Taylor Grey is back and ready to show fans what’s in store for the songwriter/singer. With two Independent Music Awards (Best Pop Album for “Space Case” and Best Pop Song for “Miami”) under her belt, the 21-year-old recently announced, “It’s time for a change.” Taylor has matured, not only in her music but within herself, and continues her studies as a junior at Stanford University pursuing a rigorous course in neuroscience.

Growing up in Northern California, Taylor’s love for music came at a very young age. Taylor started her career in musical theater and began writing lyrics at the age of 12. Her passion for songwriting grew exponentially after she taught herself both the piano and the guitar, and was able to perform her own music. Taylor continues to develop her own unique sound and songwriting style—which have been described as sophisticated, cross-generational pop—and is inspired by a wide range of influences such as pop music, and trailblazing female icons of the ‘90s such as Alanis Morissette.

Making her debut in 2016 with a two-part EP “Mind of Mine I & II”— Taylor soon caught the eyes and ears of pop artist Jacob Whitesides and joined him as the opening performer on his summer “Lovesick” Tour making it her live national debut with a full band. Quickly, her fan base began to grow and gained even more traction in the fall of 2016, when she joined The Summer Set’s sold-out “Made for You” Tour as a special guest throughout the USA.

Following a successful first year, Taylor began recording debut album, “Space Case.” In February 2017, she released the album’s first single, “Never Woulda Letcha,” along with the official music video. A few months later, Taylor released another single, “Miami,” featuring solo artist Spencer Kane, that premiered live at the Billboard Music Awards Radio Row Opening Ceremony in Las Vegas. Taylor kicked off the summer in Tiger Beat’s June 2017 issue as their featured “Artist on the Rise” and released her highly-anticipated debut album on June 16, 2017. The album was executive produced by the award-winning, Josh Abraham (Justin Bieber, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson), and produced by Nico Stadi, who has recorded with some of pop’s biggest recording artists including Justin Bieber, Lindsey Stirling and Jason Derulo. Featured on the album are special appearances by The Vamps’ Brad Simpson (“Fallin’”) and Spencer Kane (“Miami”).

In support of her album release, Taylor joined forces with Jacob Whitesides again for his “Basically Happy” North American Tour and joined the legendary boy band, O-Town, on a handful of selected dates for “I Love the 90s” nationwide tour along with Ryan Cabrera. Keeping her momentum going, Taylor dropped and premiered the official music video for “Miami” with Spencer Kane on Tiger Beat and AXS on August 4, 2017, which received rave reviews and streaming. 2017 was filled with radio tours and battles, concert and show events alongside other artists such as the American Music Awards Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles with Walk the Moon, iHeart KISS Lounge in Cincinnati, OH with Sabrina Carpenter, New York, NY with Jake Miller, Electric 94.9 Acoustic Christmas with Fall Out Boy, LAUV, MAX, NOW 96.3's 2nd Annual NOW Night Out in St. Louis with Flo Rida and more.

Taylor has remained an inspiration for what she stands for---hard work, self-love and female empowerment. Her warm voice and infectious beats are a breath of fresh air amidst pop music today, and there’s no doubt she will continue to revolutionize the world of pop.

Currently with Taylor’s anticipated new single, alternative pop sound, and special live performance on August 31,2018 at Hotel Café in Los Angeles which will premiere the new single “Back to Bite” and give fans a very up-close sneak peak of her new music from her upcoming EP due to release in early October. “Writing music is a form of therapy for me (definitely not the only form, but a pretty important one nonetheless). So that’s what this EP is, it’s just me in my most vulnerable state talking about the things that matter, mean, and hurt the most to me. It’s angry, depressed, shy, excited, and empowered; it’s like a big bath of emotions and I love it.” says Taylor.
